Something handmade, or something special, that would take some thinking.

And something that shows he cares instead of just trying to get in my pants.

It depends on the girl too. My brat of a boyfriend tried to talk me into wanting a huge mess of flowers. I told him I'd throw them at him if he got me that.
Some people would die to get something like that tho.

Just something that shows he spent time thinking about it and/or making it. I would also just really want to spend the day with him, free from any distractions (other people, family, friends, etc).

i guess it does depends on the type of girls she is, but usually girls would love anything from the guy that she loves. but it must be something thoughtful though. doesnt have to be expensive and I agree that handmade stuff are great. Just at least put SOME thought into the present.

why does everyone want flowers? they're such a waste of money and they die! you get them then you put them in water, then they die and/or wilt away so you have to clean up after them.

tell him to get her a cute card and spill his heart in it. probably a teddy bear too, i love teddy bears throb.gif

however the topic title says "what would you want?" what do i want? i want a COMMITMENT, damn it!!! cry.gif

Really depends on how long they've been going out. There's some rumor or saying that's like, you shouldn't give out jewelry unless the relationship is at least a year old. Otherwise, flowers would be nice, it's the thought that counts, right? Maybe even chocolate, give a girl a chance to live a little.
If money's tight, and these items are too expensive, go on a walk with her, talk to her, maybe tell her something special.

something really sweet and thoughtful. The best valentines gift I have ever gotten was a small scrapbook with pictures of us in it. I still have it (it was from 3 years ago). A really pretty simple necklace isn't too shabby either.

Chocolate is always great, chocolate covered strawberries are my favorite. Cards are good and flowers, write a message in the card.

I'm almost completely out of food, so a box of Cracklin' Oat Bran would be nice.

something hand made is best, but chocolate is always nice hehe.gif.

For hand made you could... take an empty binder and on every page say something or draw something special, like I did for my friend for her brithday. After all is done it kinda looks like a scrap book, and it doens't have to be very long, just like 10 pages...on the first page you could draw a pic of her favourite animal and on the second page you could write a poem about her favourite pass time, stuff like that. I think it would be really cute to get something like that, even if it's not that great looking...it's the thought that counts.

hmmm my "soon to be" bf was asking me what i wanted. i think a cute teddy bear, flowers, or chocolate is nice. but something homemade that he put a lot of time into would be really really really cute.
