I've been overestimated most of the time.

Well... sometimes people underestimate me when I say I'm a quiet person. I've tried to say less than 5 words in one whole day before.

People do tend to underestimate me they are usually either shocked that I have a personality (if they only see me in serious classes) or that i'm not an airhead (if they see me when i'm having fun) so in both cases I guess that's being underestimated.

Dude, you so stole my rant. My boss's mother is getting on my nerves for that very reason, she doesn't trust me to make a sale. She's constantly jumping in and trying to help me and making the customer feel uncomfortable. Uhm, if I didn't have plenty of experience he wouldn't have hired me. rolleyes.gif

I just LOVE it when people underestimate me in basketball and football. They think just 'cuz Im Mexican, I can't ball on the court, hit that "J". They think 'cuz of my size, I can't throw one complete reception or catch a 30yd. throw. But when they see me in action, it's over. Im not your average Mexican basketball/football player.

People tend to underestimate the full extent and wrath of my rage. I'm often, at first glance, seen as a doormat for people to walk all over. Haha. If only they knew.

Don't get on my bad side. I'm a fair person. Respect me and I'll respect you. That makes sense, doesn't it? Why don't people understand?

UH OH, HE'S PLAYING THE RACE CARD!

As a young Black male, I'm expected to fail. I'm expected to be ignorant, loud, uncouth, have hoop dreams, etc.

I prove people wrong every single day of my life.

Anytime I can go into a country club, where whatever I want and still be able to have an intelligent conversation with your so-called 'blue-beard,' I'm proving someone wrong.

I graduated from high school and I'm pursuing a degree.

The list goes on. I am underestimated all the time and I've learned to just deal with it. I'm going to succeed, I'm going to be wealthy and at the end of the day, I can look down from atop my mountain and smirk at all the people who doubted me.

Real talk.

A wrestling move where you lift someone on your back and throwing them into a 90 degree spin thus landing their  head on your shoulder.

Something very much like this

^ I guess, since I'm really skinny people think I'm really weak, but I work out a lot, like if I showed you a picture of myself right now, you would probably think I can't do it either.

you play the race card, i play the ace of spades! now what?

tongue.gif

anywho.

people have aendency to underestimate my level of determination, and my work ethic, mainly because i tend to either work my ass off for smething i want/believe in, or show complete apathy. people who see the latter underestimate me, rather than assume that i concentrate my effots. i respond by proving them wrong.

oh. and people tend to assume that because i have af airly soft, quiet voice (when im being serious), that they can argue me down by talking over me. pssh.

Mainly my math teachers underestimate me. I just prove them wrong... although, there is reason for the understimation going on. But, if my teacher didn't have so many fashion faux pas, it's wouldn't be that bad... his jeans have elastic waists bans. I thought they only did that for toddler's jeans. huh.gif

I don't care about my looks.
Which means most of the time I don't bother with make-up.
Because I'm always tired and I rub my face.
Which means I look younger than I actually am.
It also means that I don't dress perfectly all the time.
People underestimate me because of that.

people underestimate me, by thinking that i never take anything seriously and can't think philosophically just because i'm always happy-go-lucky.

but when i say something much philosophically deeper than what they can comprehend, it's always fun to watch.

Before my best friend and I became friends, I underestimated him in his abilities to play Super Smash Bros. So Me and my other friend were "pros" at that game, and we kinda thought that my best friend would be easy pickings. Turns out, he whooped us both in a 2 on 1.

Oh hell yeah!!! Its fun though...It happens most of the time in the park... People challenge me basketball and how can I deny, since I can't really(I don't know why, don't ask). First they take it easy on me, while I also take it easy on them, its called sizing your opponent up or trying to learn his moves...boxers do it in the early rounds in boxing, try to strategize while the game is happening... But when their on the lead by like 10-2, and its up to 16, I just do 60% then keep on rising as the game goes on...Most of the time the score ends up 16-10 with me winning...
