Since this is sports related, I'll put this in Entertainment.

Topic moved.

And I had no clue the opening ceremonies were tonight ohmy.gif I'm missing them! I love the Winter Olympics, much more than I like the Summer Olympics. Figure skating = throb.gif

It looked more like Cirque du Soleil than an opening for the Olymipics.

I loved the lighting of the Olympic flame! It was a great design =] . Didn't think the ceremony was as good as Athens, though.

Feel sorry for Torino, it's at a $1 million deficit from the Olympics, Beijing08 is taking all the sponsorships leaving Torino in the dust.

Oh but the Chinese can't afford to screw up their Olympics, so their opening ceremony will just have to be one of the most spectacular.

I didn't watch it, but does anyone know who that 16-year old guy from Georgia is? He's in the speed skating thing... and I want to know who it is. Hmmmmm.

I should watch it.

Man...I don't even watch the olympics anymore. I used to watch it everytime. I do like the opening ceremonies though. VERY NICE! (Like the World Cup's) If there is one thing I watch, it's soccer (Summer olympics). That's like the only thing that interests me. And maybe baskteball.

I only saw part of it. I fell asleep halfway through the Parade of Nations.

But, so far this was cool. A lot better than the opening ceremony in Athens.

Well, it's sort of unfair to compare the summer Olympics opening ceremony to a winter Olympics opening ceremony. Just think about how much bigger the summer Olympics are.

Yeah, go Canada! Anyone watch women's hockey? 16 - freaking 0. Crazy cakes.
