The only thing more annoying than getting a song stuck in your head is getting a song stuck in your head whose lyrics you really don't know. For some reason, I have the chorus from Fallout Boy's "Sugar We're Going Down" stuck in my head—but the singer is mushy-mouthed and I don't even know what the chorus really is. I guess it goes something like this:
"We're going down, down in a merry-go-round (?), Sugar we're going down swingin'. I'll be your number one with a bullet, Your number one, cocked, loaded, click it and pull it." I don't even know if that last line is correct, but that's the most tasteful interpretation I've come up with. The worst part is, it's not even a good song. It's not even from a good band. I mean, really. I saw these guys live once. Sure, the guitarists were okay, but I just wanted to get up on stage and slap the bassist. He kept doing those stupid "moves" that bassists do, like throwing the guitar around his neck. Sure, it's cool like once, but when you do it ten times in each song, you're just being an ass. Why do such bad songs have to be so catchy? |

My son likes to listen to Radio Disney so I habitually get the "Hamster Dance Song" in my head. It's not like I don't have chronic migraines as it is.

same with can i have it like that; so i'm walking to p.e. and i have my head phones. my friends are talking and then all of a sudden i start singing 'HELLO? CAN YOU HERE ME NOW? CAN I HAVE IT LIKE THAT?' and theyre like 'wtf monica?!?' haha silly me. |
