friends table?? Options

i've seen posts about this befor but none of the codes worked? my layout is set thinier then the usual one and my friends space is huge...i tried putting it in a scroll box but then i couldent center it, so what im asking basicly is if anybody knows the code to make the friends space thiner or to put my friends and comments in a scrollbox and center them in the profile.
