I'm not a bit fond of the over-hormoned idiots either, but at least I can yell at them without feeling bad. Plus, they can manage to stay in one place as I educate them, whereas little children never manage to do what I tell them. I prefer things with an understanding of obedience. |

You've just have bad luck with meeting the right type of children, of course, siblings don't count, their purpose is to annoy you. Other (non-bratty) children can be quite sweet. Of course, it's always fun to make a bratty children non-bratty.
