Psh, the only reason why Phil sees his shadow is because as soon as he comes out the ground, some idiots take pictures and the flash of light makes it seem like he did rolleyes.gif

And besides, it's the dead of winter in New York and it's going to be in the mid 50s. It's so not going to be winter for much longer.

But Happy Groundhog's Day anyway happy.gif

It doesn't feel like it around here. lol
But yay, 6 more weeks of winter.
Maybe it'll actually snow like they said it would.

Haha. The groundhog has always seen it's shadow, ever since I can remember. I can't believe I used to get excited on this day. What a disappointment.

HOWEVER, in Hampton/Newport News, VA, it's 62 degrees out. Beautiful!

The Staten Island groundhog suprisingly didn't see it's shadow. So for the Tri-State area. WE GOT EARLY SPRING! WOOT!

Haha, yeah the groundhog in NY didn't see it's shadow, so we get spring early, yay.

The Staten Island groundhog doesn't count. There's only one true groundhog weather prognosticator.

I just saw the news. Several groundhogs in Canada didn't see their shadows so it looks like an early spring for Canadians! :)

Why do we rely on a groundhog to tell us if it's winter or not?

It was 63 degrees today. I don't believe the groundhog.
