^Well of course he'd have to lip sing in the movie. They all did. When they film a musical usually they record the soundtrack first, and then when they are filming they lipsing to it while they are dancing and all.
It's still his voice though, just pre-recorded. I mean for movie musicals it has to be done.
I think there were a good handful of singers. Not the best. But still good enough to be in a disney musical lol.

that was an amazing movie^

but highschool musical was decent. You could tell their voices were edited (like the recordings) but they were still good.

^OH NO! lol..i wasn't talking about that. I know they lip sing while filming the movie..What I meant was that my friends told me that he wasn't actually SINGING.  Like, that wasn't his actualy singing voice.  It was either somebody sang his part for him, and he just lipped it while filming, or they EXTREMELY edited his voice ....but it could be a rumor.

I guess they're OKAY singers for a disney musical.....but I still think the only person that could really sing in there is Ashley Tisdale. She should have gotten the lead part...

Oh you meant that a different guy sang his part. Hmm...possibly, I doubt it though, He wasn't THAT great of a singer. I think it was him singing, but edited a lot. That Ashley girl, I think you're referring to the blonde? lol. Yes I thought she had a wonderful voice.

aw, i liked this movie. i thought it was really cute! the girl who played gabriella, i thought, was really pretty. i liked her voice...even though all their voices sounded a bit editted and yeah.

i actually don't like ashley tisdale's voice sometimes. in some of her songs, her voice is nasally and high and yeah...

but it was definitely dissappointing.

Movie-wise, it's nothing special. I liked some of the songs and the dancing, but besides that, there wasn't really much. You could really tell that they did everything that would lure in an audience. Good-looking actors, catchy songs, dancing, a somewhat-romantic plot that would never happen in real life, the like.

It's just a light disney musical, which I enjoyed.

I went to church sunday, and this girl who was 8 or 9 years old was drawing pictures of the characters from the movie. lol. So i mean, c'mon.

Well I don't know about you guys, but I enjoyed the movie. Both the actress/actor was good looking and the soundtrack was really good too. I like "What I've been looking for" and "Breaking free"
