"And if you recall guys, I said I though it was on a reseller account, meaning I didn't know for sure. And want to know why I thought that? " If you don't know for sure, why give out any information at all?

Anyway, no more of it, it's over and done with.
And yes, i have a reseller with them. I also have a reseller with surpass, and a dedicated server. Want to know any more information that does not pertain to this thread? If so, PM me.

New design and promotional package available as well as client referral plan (ability to earn extra space and bandwidth, or get hosting packages as half price off or more!)

Damn....I wish I would've waited until now to get a plan. I would've gotten a better deal. :/
I really feel like I was ripped off.
I may change hosts. mellow.gif
Well, after my year is up with holdfire.
I'm really kind of upset about this..=X
Oh well, I'll get over it.

You can have as many MySQL databases as you want, yes? I'd need one for Wordpress, than a 1-3 more custom-designed databases for other tasks. Is that possible?

You get unlimited mysql databases (and the space that pertains to them is obviously whatever amount your allocated.)

Because it’s public to begin with, welcome to the business world. No to mention that this is a PUBLIC forum, so when you open a topic, it is there for people to post on. The idealistic use of a forum, that’s my 2 cents….. It was more than needed…..

LuvsDogs387, I will not ever gaurentee 100% uptime because that means no maintenaince is performed on the servers. Currently there has been no downtime at all, so for the past couple of months uptime has been 99.99%.

Medic, what answer were you looking for exactly..?

My teacher already started the registration thingy but she only has to put her credit card number. By the way, how long does it take before the site gets activated?

Once she pays for the domain hosting and registration, her package will get activated immediately. However, if no payment is received, obviously nothing will get activated.

Yes, larger plans, and reseller accounts will be available in the future. They're currently on hold though since I'm waiting for a business deal to go through.

Well, can you just cancel it(http://vannuysmiddleschool.org)? I'm sorry. She already got another domain. Thanks though!

Can I ask why she decided to cancel it? If it's because it wasn't up, it's because she never paid for the hosting and domain. In order to receive the domain and hosting, a payment needs to be received...

Ok, I've already emailed this.
I've already payed the bill, and yet my account is suspended?
You have no number to get in contact with you about this, so I have to wait for who knows how long for your reply email.
I've already got my receipt even, yet I'm still suspended.
You sent the email to me about the billing the DAY you suspend my account.
Why have you done this?
I trusted holdfire, now I'm not so sure.
I want a prompt reply.
First you change all of your prices on me, I have pretty much the worst plan than anyone else. People get more space than me for FREE, and yet I'm paying ten dollars a month?
Now you suspend me without even proper warning.
As of right now, all the service I've got is pretty much screaming "Holdfire sucks, leave now. You're not a valued customer."

You've had your account since 11/30/05; This is the first issue we have had to take care of with you, as our customer. Also, your price has not changed at all. Do I need to show proof that you have been paying the same amount every month, aside from the first month, which included the domain name registration.

Also, you were sent an invoice previously; You should have received one 1/28/06, because that was the last date I generated upcoming invoices. If you did not receive an invoice, apoligies, however for future reference your due date will always be on the 30th, so now you know that's when a bill is due. If you do not receive an invoice to pay, then that's when you can contact HF so we can get the e-mailed to you.

However, if a payment is not received by 11:59PM (EST) on the due date, then the account becomes unsuspended. Your e-mail to us was received BEFORE your payment was verified by our vendor. Therefore your account was not reinstated until the verification e-mail was received.

If you feel that you want a phone number to contact me personall at, then please send an e-mail to j.miskowicz@holdfire.net and I will gladly supply it to you. Also, please do refrain from further slandering of the company with false statements.
