How is createblog getting supported, financially? Can someone inform me about it. I don't see any Ads, so someone must be paying for it. I don't know.
And also, what would you do if suddenly one day, createblog got shutdown. For me, I'd just shrug and go on with life. edit ok just when I finish posting this, I see ads appear. I've never noticed. |

you see the banner over this topic? Adsense.... CB is probaly making over $100 a day with so many viewers... i want to put adsense on my sig but then i think i'd get it deleted it... lol.
the only fees CB pays tho are Domain name and that's yearly and then server space.. MAYBE.. idk... and the price for the actual board. |

i don't think CB will close down... unless the owner owner forgot to pay a bill or something... but then everyone would freak out and the board will be up before over a 100 ppl noticed.. haha.

Although, you could say that hey cB does get a lot of bandwidth used up, especially since there's so many layouts and the forums, and the like.
You could say that in a sense, the ads and traffic all pay for itself.  Be glad cB doesn't have annoying popups.. Or well, at least not for me or any of the computers I've been on. If cB shut down... Man it would be really tough for me, since I'm one of the admins here. I've been here for a while and of course I'd be very devastated if it shut down! Heck, I'd contact Jusun immediately and demand an explanation! lol but cB will never shut down.. I won't let it!

There's a large enough staff that if micron decided to shut it down, I bet the staff members could wheedle all the data from him and keep it going--or, at least, buy all the IP outright and keep it alive.

Whoa.. If CB shut down (meaning Jusun decided not to keep it up anymore), there would be tons of staff to keep it alive, as Michael said.
But if it really, really, died.. I mean, it would suck since I'm pretty devoted here and spend a lot of time at the boards, but at least I'd have more time to spend with Brandon.. he complains sometimes that I should spend less time on the computer. :P |

CB can get addictive... and that's why people would go crazy if CB left, most ppl become like post whores like months because they get soo hooked... if CB closed and their was no coming back, they would find some other addiction... i doubt anything major happening to CB in the near future so im not worried... i'd leave CB before CB left me.. lol. |

This topic reminds me of when Vortexmb was closed, alot of member were devasted by that. Hmmmm...if cB were to close I suppose life would go on of course but not without a fight to keep it alive. But we wont let that happen >;-]

I know.. I would be.. without a purpose in life! I mean honestly, the only thing that keeps me awake all these nights is CB because I'm stuck here posting and playing in that addictive arcade. Really, if there was no CB, I'd go to bed at 7:30 every night and not be so tired in the mornings. CB is just too addicting to shut down.

If CB got shut down, I'd merely shrug it off. There are a few people I'd have to hunt down, but those close to me talk to me on a regular basis.
