my hobbies are to breed exotic animals... such as reptiles an marine creatures... I'm starting with chameleons.. anyone has a tip?....

I've only had a bearded dragon (as far as reptiles go. I worked at a pet store so at one point I had 2 chinchillas, 2 ferrets, 2 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, salt water and fresh water tanks, etc... damn I had a zoo!). But not much knowledge about chameleons here. I do know that bd's eat crickets and require a heat lamp. =)

If you go to a pet store, I'm sure there's an "animal wise-crack" working there that can help you. The library or local pet stores are good sources for books that can guide you into raising one.

I found that most of the authors have extensive equipment that the majority of us just don't have. I'd rather get advice from Joe Schmoe pet owner AND a book, rather than just a book. |
