I'm not interested in money when it comes to guys. So, I'd have to say Gorgeous and Poor.

It depends on the guy really. I'd have to have an emotional connection.

I disagree; a guy's looks he's born with unless he gets surgery, but most rich people earn their way up... someone that's gorgeous and poor is just someone nature dealt a good hand (and is also someone who is probably very lazy since being hot definitely improves your chances of being rich), whereas being attracted to wealth is a sign that you respect the virtues that created the wealth such as hard work and shrewdness. I have so much more respect for girls that make their choices based on money than those who make their choices based on looks.

Of course, it's best to make choices on neither money nor looks, but money is definitely several steps up.

Although looks don’t matter much to me, I chose for him to be poor and gorgeous, but either one would be all right, because if he was fabulously wealthy he could contribute (his money) more easily to the less fortunate. Also, he is most likely uncorrupted by greed, and the other negative traits that seem to go hand in hand with wealth.

You could be a genius with a strong moral character that just never got lucky, or donates their extra money to charities. The vast majority of ridiculously wealthy people today come from old money families; compared to them, Donald Trump appears poor (but publicized). Wealth by no means guaruntee's one's respect, and again, I use Donald Trump as my example, he is a selfish, evil, uncompassionate man. If the rich are more morally good than the poor, than Scrooge was more fit to live than Tiny Tim, and if one paid attention to the Ghost of Christmas Present, he was less fit to live than millions like Tiny Tim.

Money and looks.

You can't say that you're being completly virtuous and right by picking gorgeous and poor, because that just says that you care about their physical appearance, which is sort of shallow (there's nothing wrong with it) and not all that better than caring about your financial stability. You could even look at it as practical to pick the richer guy because then you would be ensuring a healthy, good life for your kids.

I guess I'm shallow too, because I'd pick gorgeous and poor, but it really depends on other things such as personality or my own financial status.

gorgeous and poor. money isn't everything, and i know looks isn't either, but i would rather have a hot husband than a rich one. what's really important though is their personality and everything.

if the guy's ugly n rich then get him to get plastic surgery . then he'll be gorgeous.

I see it this way - you can be ugly and rich, get a lot of plastic surgery and still be ugly... or...

be georgous and poor and go to a casting call for models and there you go! lmao.

Oh ahaha. I thought it was asking about if WE would rather be rich and ugly or pretty and poor...

but my answer would be the same for my guy. I don't want my kids to suffer from the uglys lmao just because I decided to marry a rich man.

Any of them would work for me.

If you're ugly and rich, you'll have enough money for plastic surgery and you'll have enough money to live life leisurely, at your expense.

If you're gorgeous and poor, you'll be able to make good money with your appearance.

So appearance is the deal-breaker?

And so, you're saying to me, that by saying you'd rather be gorgeous, that you don't support society's stereotypes.

Interesting.

well i guess i can see how i made it sound that appearance is the deal-breaker.
but it's really not to me. should have worded it differently.

but, i don't think that you should support stereo types in general.

^ I respect that. =]

-----

I'm wondering why everyone is saying gorgeous and poor, though, and then saying it's all about personality. It's strange to me, because if personality is the most important thing, then does it matter if you're ugly or not? So why not ugly and rich? If you have the personality then would being ugly and rich be better?

What I'm trying to get at is that, despite all the notions of personality being the most important, we are still choosing to be gorgeous rather than ugly?

gorgeous and poor.

in my opinion, i think those who are poor are more appreciative of things in life. their personalities are better than those than the rich. rich people tends to look down on people for the things they couldn't possess. as a result, they become conceited and feel superior. i don't know, that's what i think.
