800x600, although a more common screen resolution is 1024x768.

Any, really.
But photobucket tends to resize files that are bigger than 250kb.. so I suggest you go with http://imageshack.us

yeah i use photobucket, and i tried putting my layout up on there, and i was like ITS TINY!! xD

Ff you save it as a jpeg then it probably won't resize, but the resolution won't be as good.

If you are using photoshop you can save the image as web, it will make the size smaller, and it will also be good quality
