No I don't have a tatoo, and I probably wouldn't get one either.

If I HAD to get one, then i'd want to design it myself, and have it mean something to me. Probably get it somewhere on my back or something. I'm not sure. But that's unlikely though. I've considered belly button piercing before a tatoo. And since i'm turning 18 in about 7 months, that might come true.

I don't have one, but I'm planning on getting one. But who knows...by the time I'm 18 I may change my mind. I kinda/sorta know what I want.

^^ That girl's a liar.

I want a tattoo on my back. I want a bird, used to want a dove, but now I want a phoenix all in black ink though. Gonna wait probably a year to see if I change my mind again. If I don't then I'm getting it.

I have two - one on my neck and one on my lower back. The one on my neck is the Chinese character for Dragon, the other is the Japanese character for silver. I've had them for over 10 years. =)

^ The one on the neck didn't hurt too bad. The one on the lower back was horrible though. I'm so glad I went with something small.

- Bar code

That's all so far. But I'm sure I'll want more.

Im not sure yet, but I have brainstormed a few ideas of what I might want. I've thought about getting a tattoo of Lion of Judah (religous symbol) or stars (because I love stars) like on my shoulder or something.

A lot of people always say things like that, but seriously who cares about when you're 90. You only live once so you should do anything wild or crazy you want. Because when you get old you might regret not doing it. And who wants to be 90 anyways. Okay just had to put that out there.

yes they can get infected.

a few things we do here in dallas when we go get tatoos

we look through the artists portfolio, most tattoo shops have them in the in the waiting area of the store.

you go to various parlors
find an artist you are comfortable with

then when you decide which artist you want
go get your tatoo done and make sure they open everything in front of you, all needles must be wrapped and they artist must be wearing gloves.

i want stars but i haven't decide which artist i want to do my tatoo for me

I have a tattoo on my lower back. Yes I know I know, some people think it's such a cliche place to put it in but for the kind of tattoo I have it's the only place that would have looked good in. I have a tribal looking sun with a ying yang in the middle and you know what? I want another one!!

It didn't really hurt when I got it. Acutally ... I rather enjoyed it. It was like having someone massage you with a really point vibrating thing LOL.

My advice to people getting a tattoo though ... only get one if it actually means something to you. It bugs me when some people just get tattoos for the hell of it becaucse the picture "looks cool" and then they end up regretting it. Mine means something to me and that's why I got it not because the picture just looks cool.

I have never seen a grandma wear a bikini LOL. Usually most old poeple won't wear revealing clothes and show things off. Not that I know LOL. Unless they're those old old people who still believe they can be youthful LOL

My grandpa has a tattoo and yes it looks all wrinkly and stuff but when he talks about it and what it meant to him back then, you appreciate that sentimental value a little bit more
