... Myspace is like.. where you can post random comments with each other about pure randomness and post random picture comments. Plus you can upload more pix on myspace...

Although some people are myspace-whores and want 1000 friends, thus they go and start adding mass amounts of people and then there's those myspace stalkers and and and and.. ph34r.gif

Myspace, imo, is like findapix + xanga + chatting! Have you guys tried the myspace chat-aim thingy? If a member's online, you can chat with them. It's very similar to AIM... Awesome >=]

I guess they are made for the same reasons, but Myspace has a better database about you.

i think myspace is more of a "meeting place" like you get to stay in touch with your friends.. but xanga is like for diaries when i'm bored and want to express my feelings.. well now i just use my xanga for a fansite!

Well, Myspace offers a lot more than Xanga, in a way. Although Xanga lets you e-prop/comment anyone without having to be their friend, Myspace is not really lenient on the matter. :| Also, Xanga is focused mainly on blogging, while Myspace.com offers more than just a way to vent your feelings (for example - games, music, groups, etc.)

I guess people don't pay attention to ads anymore. I find advertisment one of the number one factors on whether or not I plan to go to that website frequently. It may be just because my computer is slow but-- well, honestly I don't like seeing a gigantic fungi infested toe dance around on the top of my myspace. Xanga wasn't good about it either. Before I quit xanga the ads were getting flashier and flasier to the point of utter distraction.

My solution: get a livejournal.

They're easy, free, and NO advertisments.
They're quiet, very modifiable, and good communities.

I keep my myspace to keep in touch with irl and CB friends. But if you're looking for a blogging place I strongly suggest livejournal over xanga.

xanga is more of an intimate thing... people choose to read ur blogs or not and you have more freedom on it..

myspace.. people send u messages and u send back.. i sorta think of it as AIM but slower... lol.
