who watched the High School Musical on Disney Channel ? they had some pretty catchy songs, some of my friends were singing/humming that " breaking free " song
and Gabriella [Vanessa Anne Hudgens] is heeeeeellllllllaaaaaaa good lookin .  edit : oh and i checked the disney site and it's re-running this wednesday, for those who missed it or want to see it again . edit 2/11/06 next re-run is the 13th, Monday . @ 8 like always |

all of my friends kept on talking about it at school today.. and i don't really watch the disney channel so i missed it. hopefully i'll remember to watch it on wednesday..

People at your schools talk about Disney movies?
 I didn't watch more than about 10 minutes total, but I heard mos of because my sisters have watched twice already, and I found it horrid. The song in which that girl was singing alone on the stairs was just far too corny to tolerate. |

I watched most of it (didn't have time to watch the full thing) but I thought it was pretty good. It was different obviously from the other disney movies and I really liked the songs. They had a good looking cast! The lead guy and his best friend were...yeah =] Well, I thought the movie was cute.

I liked some of the songs there. And she is really pretty, but she looks a bit sunburnt in that picture. The Lead guy's best friend was cute.

DUH, it's gonna be corny. It's from Disney~! You really can't expect real thought provoking things from Disney.
So anyway, I liked it. I'm a sucker for musicals. I mean, yeah. There were scenes that shouldn't have been in it just because they were so darn cheesy. (Like the time when Gabriella sings to the poster of Troy) My whole school is singing random selections from the movie in the hallways & stuff. (Especially me. Even though I can't sing that doesn't stop me~!) |

I thought the movie was ok. I like some of the songs. I was singing it with my friend when we were playing tennis, now my other friend won't stop talking about it..

Yea, it was really corny, which is why i usually dont watch the disney channel anymore. But i decided to watch this because i've seen the commercial a couple of times and the main character is really hot and the girl is really really pretty too. I watched it and i loved it! At least the songs and stuff... i tried not to think of the corny stuff so much.

cool, i'll def check it out :) I'm intrigued -edit- Watched it tonight. Man that guy who play Troy (Zac Efron) was a CUTIE. He reminded me of Kevin Zegers. This boy could sing, dance, AND play basketball? Where do I sign up? Haha! Last Friday, I went over to my friend's house with another friend and we watched it together. XD Even our [other] friend (who's a guy) wanted to watch it. That part kind of scared us, but yeah. We had fun mocking the guy with all of the funky hats. ;D
