Batman...Returns? was a really crap movie

and again, Harold and Kumar was beyond horrid, though I did get mocked mecilessly by my guy friends (minus James, who agrees with me) for thinking for this for quite a while

Ehhh Yeah, Harold and Kumar isn't the type of movie that is funny when you're sober.

UGH. I just saw "First Daughter." Although Marc Blucas is a total cutie, nothing could help this film's decent into complete mediocrity due to the horror that is Katie Holmes' acting and an uninspired script. Thus, "First Daughter" is yet another film I'm adding to the "worst movie ever" list.

I would strongly disagree. M. Night Shyamalan's worst film was Wide Awake. Also, I rather enjoyed The Village. If you ask me, the film got alot of slack because of the fact that it was marketed as a horror film when it was very apparently a love story. I thought it was beautifully shot, masterfully directed and acted, and an altogether a successful film. To declare it as one of the worst films ever seems very shortsighted. It is definately not even close to one of the worst films ever.

In all honesty, The Sixth Sense is so amazingly overrated it is not even funny. I would take Unbreakable or The Village over the Sixth Sense any day.

Note: I'm not just replying to your comments, but the comments of many other people on and off CB.

Wolf Creek. It was slow in the beginning, was too horrific in the middle, and ended stupid-ly. I was ready to walk out the theatre.

First Nightmare on Elm Street was great. It begins to go downhill with each sequel.

Wolf Creek, for me, was a huge disapointment. It wasn't absolutely atrocious, however, it wasn't really good either. I liked the beginning, great character development. The problems start with the on-screen conflicts. Not at all horrific enough if you ask me. Decently predictable even though it broke cliches and tested the horror genre. In the end though, it falls flat in trying too hard to be different, too hard not to care for it's characters. Ending abruptly and without resolution.

The New World. It was like a beauty queen: very pretty to look at but lacking any substance.

^ Yeah, but Napoleon Dynamite was full aware of its capabilities. The directors didn't set it up to be this great film, for one thing it lacked the budget and for another it was just supposed to be this simple tale of this simple guy and with that it hit the mark. The New World wanted to be this fantastic, epic tale of love and love lost but just couldn't meet up to its own expectations. It was a gorgeously shot film but it was extremely confusing and vapid; it didn't say anything because there wasn't any dialogue (wtf?). So thus it was like a beauty queen, pretty and full of potential but without anything to say.
