Damn, I really underestimated the Steelers. The Seahawks-Steelers SuperBowl should be a good one.

You just look for any reason to hate Peyton Manning don't you, PurchasedRebellion?

I hope the Steelers don't manhandle Seattle :-/.

Offense

SeattleThe teams are very even I think. The Seahawk's offensive line is amazing, with two perrenial pro-bowlers (Walter Jones, Steve Hutchinson). They have a pro-bowl Full-back (Mack Strong) blocking for the NFL MVP and Pro-bowler Shaun Alexander, who today proved why he is the MVP against the Broncos. Matt Hasslebeck has been ultra-efficient lately, and he has a great recieving corps.

PittsburghThe Steelers offense is less impressive to me, yet they produce. Ben Roethlisberger(crap, bad spelling) has been amazing so far and I expect him to stay amazing against the pourous Seattle defense. Pittsburgh's running backs are....good. Jerome Bettis is a big, big back. But he's old, and he's showing it. He's mainly used as a short-yardage/goal-line back, but he's playing in his home-town, so expect him to play with a little extra edge. Willie Parker is the exact opposite. He is very fast, and is used often in sweeps and such. However, the guy fumbles so often it's rediculous, and I expect him to on Sunday. The steeler's offensive line is good, thats all i have to say about that. Their receivers are excellent. They have an excellent possesion and blocking reciever in Hines Ward and a quick little bastard in Antwaan Randle El.

Defense

Seattle The Seahawks' led the league in sacks this season, and I expect that that'll carry over into this game. I don't think that Big Ben (thats what I'm calling him now, since I butchered his last name earlier) will play with over 100 pts QB rating, because the D will be pressuring him. The linebackers have a standout performer in Lofa Tatupu, a rookie from USC. He leads the team in tackles, and he is a good run-stopper as well as a good coverage man. The secondary makes a lot of plays, but they let a lot of plays happen as well. This defense really showed what it was capable of today against the Panthers, and if they can carry this victory over into the super bowl, I think the Hawks have a chance.

Edit later

He makes it easy.

Bill Simmons never fails to kill me:

QUOTE
The Peyton Manning Award for Worst Performance in a Playoff Game
With apologies to Tom Brady, who was uncharacteristically sloppy for two straight weeks and made the single-worst throw of his career (the pick to Champ Bailey), I still think Manning gets this award for his Tony Eason impersonation against the Steelers. More than everything else, quarterbacks need to come through in the clutch, carry themselves like the coolest guys on the field, inspire confidence in their teammates (no matter how bleak the situation), respect the coach's decisions and be quality teammates even in the face of adversity. Manning did none of these things on Sunday. And I'm not sure even A-Rod would have muttered the "I'm trying to be a good teammate" line. Some guys rise to the occasion in big games, some guys shrink from the occasion. He's one of the shrinkers. But if you're playing a 2-10 Lions team on Thanksgiving with three days to prepare, he's your guy.

I'm so glad the Steelers won. And I'm glad the Seahawks won.

Steelers win the Super Bowl. Because they will manhandle the Seahawks.

Well I think the seahawks have better defense than the steelers, but the steelers offense is just gettin stronger and stronger...but I'm predicting sean alexander is going to get 2 TD's, 175 yards...

The steelers have one of the best overall defenses in the league, by far the best road defense...

I really don't know who to go for. I don't like the AFC, but if there's ONE team I would have to like from the AFC, that would be the Steelers. The Steelers is the only team I respect from the AFC 'cuz I like their style of play. But then again, NFC is my conference. And the Seahawks are just as good as the Steelers. Im gonna have to say that the Seahawks are taking this one. But again, may the best team win. Either one deserves it.

Steelers 24 Seahawks 27

The Steelers have one of the best run defense so I highly doubt he'll gain that many yards.

The superbowl is gonna be weak, steelers all the way. Bear lost, colts lost, patriots lost. Those were the main attractions
