shopping carts, makes ya wonderrr Options

ok so i was at the store today, and i was done with my cart so then i walked over and put it in the cart holder..thingy. and then i started to wonder at how many people actually took the time to do that.

so my question is. when you are done shopping at the store, do you go and put it away, or do you just leave it in a random spot by your car?

i don't normally buy enough stuff at a gorcery store that requires a cart...actually, i don't normally go to a grocery store at all.

but anyway, when i used to go with my parents when i was younger, it was upstate new york and some stores' carts had a little contraption on the side of the handlebar. you had to deposit a quarter to get the shopping cart from a row of them, then to get your quarter back, you had to push the cart back into a row of other carts.

it's not exactly like this but it's similar and was on the right side i believe, not the middle.

I always do. A couple of times the deposit things were just far enough I thought it wasn't worth it. But I got looks from people when I left it and I hated that lol. So now I always put them back.

sometimes i put it where it belongs, other times i just leave it right next to my car.. really depends on how lazy i am that day

I dont put it back. Only if the cart holder thingy is close to were the car is parked.

I put it away. It urks me just leaving it there, because it could roll off and hit a car. O_O

Well actually in Hong Kong, the supermarket staff put the shopping carts back into place within 10 seconds after you've emptied it.

I put it away. If any of you have gone to Aldis you'll have to insert a quarter into a slot to actually get a cart then when you're done using the cart you have to put it w/ the rest of the carts and then your quarter comes out. That's how they do it in Germany too

I put it away. On occaision, if I'm feeling lazy and all that, I'll leave it in a random place. But somewhre close to the rack so some nice person can put it away for me later.

I get to the car, put the groceries away, and then i put it in thosel ittle ditches, where the trees are. You know how you have to hike it up and secure it there. I always leave it in random places, because my friends work at the grocery store and they always complain about getting carts out that way (:

If I go shopping with my older siblings, I just leave it in a parking space just to be mean and lazy, but when I go grocerry shopping with my dear parentals, I try to be as polite and dilligent by returning the cart to its rightful space.
