It took a while for me to get used to the "Boston" accent when I'd go out there. And it was funny hearing "wicked-this" and "wicked-that."
 Of course, they all kept calling me a "Valley Girl." Plsh. Whaaateverrr.

Mine is only noticeable when I feel like talking pinay. This is only when I'm at home or talking to other pinays or pinoys. What really cracks me up is when my mom trys to say fish she says 'pish'!!!!

it's really wierd.
when you listen to yourself speak, you can't hear the accent. but try recording yourself talking. you'll hear it. Even though I speak Arabic myself, I don't like Arabic accents... they just bother me.
As for Chinese accents, since a lot of people were talking about them, I like those. They're just hard to understand. My friend is Chinese, and sometimes I'm afraid to talk to her parents because I can't understand them that well.

ugh, my physics teacher has a HORRID french accent that makes it so hard to understand him...
 drives me nuts. doesn't help that he's such a crappy teacher.
