Idk its just been a habit of mine, I got in trouble when I was younger for doing it so I stopped and now its just uncomfortable for me to chew with my mouth open. |

Well that depends. If the food is really hot (temperature), I chew it with my mouth open to release the steam/heat. Then I chew it with my mouth closed.
I usually chew my food with my mouth closed anyways. But I talk with food in my mouth. lol

I chew with my mouth closed. I find it rude to chew with your mouth open.
When I visited Vietnam for a month....it drove me crazy because they would smack, slurp, talk with food in their mouth while rice spits out everywhere. I just wished they would choke on the rice.....hahaha, jk. |

I chew with my mouth closed in public. At home I don't really pay attention but more often than not I'd say I chew with my mouth closed at home. Its just something I do out of habbit.
