Oh yeah, I had a friend who came to school in a kevlar vest, and they confiscated it from him and questioned him.
*

Why would they confiscate a Kevlar jacket? Just cause it can stop most pistols and some SMG's doesn't meanhe's going to shoot somebody.

Also, man, thats so hardcore/cool.
I want a kevlar jacket now.

Well, we thought it was over and it isn't. We had another bomb threat today, but it involved more policemen. There were 10 policemen this time, and they found some electronic stuff in the bathroom.

At my old high school, there were intruder alerts and several bomb threats for a while. We even had to have metal detectors in the school for at least a week. Pretty ridiculous because I didn't think the area or the school was that dangerous. It was just a bunch of hoodlums. Oh yeah, and there were a few bomb threats at my middle school. The idiots were standing on the roof of the apartment building across the street!

If you really, really think about it, only morons call in bomb threats. I had one a few years ago, and the way they called it in was so stupid that we were only on the football field for about 15 minutes and I think they caught the idiots sometime after that.

First of all, real killers don't need to call in bomb threats; they just do it. Only idiots reveal their plan before they do it (like the students we have in our school, apparently).

Second, when people have called in enough threats and crap like that, it just screws it for the rest of us. Because of someone's actions, everybody else has to suffer with the increased security and the stricter policies. Seriously, if this is someone's idea to get their reputation, you need a brain.

Something like that happened when I was in Elementry school..
The Department of Education got a note saying that there was a bomb in one of the schools in the district where I was. So we had a choice of going to school or not and I ended up not going to school and there was no bomb.

I was also at the school that Maestro goes to and it was really cold outside if u weren't in the sun. It's early in the morning and outta nowhere we hear a long bell ring. The teachers didn't even know what it meant; they were looking on their doors to see what that meant. Then we sit outside and walk back and forth because the people didn't know where to send us. I was ready to go home... Then just yesterday we had another one. The majority of the school is after whoever did this and it's pissing us all off. So we go back out in the cold and they tell us to go back in like 20 minutes later... This is twice in less than a week. Could they just chill out!? PLEASE.

YES! IT WAS VERY COLD OUTSIDE! I MEAN SERIOUSLY, I felt sorry for the people that were in P.E. and that had on shorts and tank tops. I seriously believe it was some stupid freshman that has no life. Even though I've heard differently. You know, I don't believe there is really a bomb in our school, because if it was they would have blown it to smitherines by now, unless they're waiting for a specific time.

Well the first and second bomb threats made the newspapers. I guess the one that happend today will be in the newspaper tomorrow. Here's a picture from the newspaper about the second bomb threat. Click the image to enlarge.

Yep we had another bomb threat yesterday. It's getting very annoying to us all. That's 3 in one week and our school is known to be the good school. We now have to sign in to go to the bathroom and sign in and out to leave the class before the block is over. And if we get caught with a cell phone we're considered a suspect and will be prosecuted. I thought it was pretty weird. Somebody in a school about an hour from us tried to make a bomb threat like one at our school and they got caught. How STUPID!! And just yesterday somebody in a school 30 minutes from us called their school and threatened them with a bomb. This is getting outta control. I wish I knew this group of people who are doing this so I could get these thousands of dollars that are being rewarded to whoever gives hints that lead to an arrest. I will just hope for now we don't have another one tomorrow or anytime in the future.

Wow, that's pretty serious right there. Someone in your school must have big issues to deal with, then.
Anywho, nothing like that has ever happened to our school before - I just recall one time when I was in 4th grade, there was this one guy/intruder, and we all thought it was just an intruder drill.

I brought this topic back because we recently had a bomb/gun threat at our school because someone was attempting to mock the Virginia Tech incident. Has this happened at any of your schools?

^What's a spoiler button. Anyway, this has happened to the local college too. They had to be immediately evacuated and the college was closed for two whole days. They came to find out that someone planned to bomb the school, because someone found a map of all the major dorms.
