Mmkay... Basically, here's my story.
I have a best friend, and she's like a sister to me. But the thing is, she has a boyfriend now, and he's all she talks about. I mean, me and him are cool and all, it's just that sometimes, when I have a problem, she helps me for all about a minute, and then starts talking about him again. And it just kind of annoys me, because she's only focusing on him. And she knows I feel bad sometimes, being around the two of them, but she goes on making out with him and all that jazz right in front of me. I wanna tell her, but I kinda feel bad, because I know she really likes him. I've tried to tell her once before, but she just didn't get it. How should I tell her? |

well.. u can try analogies or just tell her straight out.. imean, wat is there not to get?? or, u can just wait until she gets back to her senses and get used to it. i really think if what u dont like is them doing "all that jazz" in front of you, you can just avoid it... and that telling problems thing... idk. i never tell my probs to my friends... i keep that inside.. so i cant help there. not very good advices, but thats really wat i would do :P |

pick a time when it's just you and her. then just tell her how it makes you feel. you can't just not tell her these things and expect her to stop constantly talking about him. since you haven't told her to stop, she probably thinks it's okay.

Best friends are asses at this stuff, they should really take a class in not making your best friends feel awkward. Moved to relationship. |

uhms just tell her. shes ur best friend she should understand. and if that doesnt wrk. get a boyfriend and makeout in front of her when shes not with her boyfried. and see how she feels about that. or say "how would you feel if you were me" or somthing

My two friends Maryann and Stephanie are going through the same exact thing, except Maryannes attitude towards it is "f**k her and her boyfriend" So shes not exactly an example but ..
I think you should just mos. def talk to her alone, and tell her simply what you feel. You cant hide your feelings from her. |

i had this problem... still sort of is like that. but... you're best friends, so even if she does get a little mad, it won't really hurt your relationship. friendship comes first, and she should know that. just talk to her about it (straight out or otherwise) and she'll understand

she's your best friend, you're suppose to be able to tell her anything. tell her it's bothering you again, this time make sure she gets it? dont' just keep it in, it's going to pile up on you and make you go crazy, i've tried.

Maybe whenever you get the chance to be alone with her, tell her that you miss having her as a friend. If she's reasonable: She'll make it up to you.

My bestfriend is like that too. At one point her boyfriend started to eat lunch with us and our 2 other bestfriends didn't like it and I kind of didn't like it. My only advice to you is to smile and bare with it. We all make sacrifices for the ones we love. In my situation, we told her we didn't like her boyfriend and then there was all this drama and I'm pretty sure no one likes drama in their lives. She ended up breaking up with him but eventually got back together.

Maybe you should set one day a week for girl's night only. You're not allowed to talk about guys or anything, you just have fun. Watch some movies or something.
Another thing would be to tell her how you feel, I think you should do that either way. Just let her know that since she's had a boyfriend, that she seems to be really wrapped up in that, and hasn't really been there for you too much. |
