Talk to him about things he likes. A tv show you both watch. A mutual liking for something. Your day. His day. Tell him a funny story. Talk about events at school. Teachers, kids, homework assignments. Movies, music. Anything.

Small talk is definately an idea, also just ask him for help on certain school subjects that you know he is good at...just don't over do it.
And most importantly...be yourself. Don't change who you are and how you act even though your crushing on him. |

Well, what do you like about him? He must have some interests, activities, or something else he is interested in that you like, too. It's easier to talk to someone when you know about the subject, so find something you're both interested in.
