made millions selling 10 by 10 pixels of advertising space on his website for 1000 dollars each. similar to a yearbook which at the end you can buy your own page for a set amount of money. ya dig

Oh, and uh. Advertising on the internet runs up way higher than 1000 dollars in many many cases, and since he had such a creative idea that made his site famous, the 1000 dollars seems reasonable. So that's probably why companies would pay.

Jeez. Still. I suppose that if you were a company, 1,000 dollars really isn't that much. It probably just sounds like a lot because we're all broke =)

LOL The most success I've ever had with an Ebay auction.. Well, I think I'm having it right now. I'm selling the complete set of Sailor Moon manga, and so far it's doing a lot better than I thought it would.

If I had the money I'd have bought a space just for bragging rights.
