um i tried searching and i dont see a topic on this one but yea.. I know everyone says age doesnt matter in love but honestly if the guy is younger then you.. do you ever feel a little weird?? i just want to know everyones opinion.. cuz i kinda feel weird.. well i guess it wouldnt matter if i really liked the guy..

Um, if he was year or 2 younger than me. It wouldnt be too weird but as for me, I would like someone a year younger, same age, or 1/2 years older than me.

yes i would. once i had a minor crush on a guy who was 1 month older than me, but later on, he was still too immature for me. i prefer guys who're at least 1/2 a year older.

Not really, but it kinda depends on both of your personalities. Usually the younger guy is more naive and callow, so the girl has to take the lead. Unless you're okay with that, it is going to be weird.

Actually it IS true about the age not being important. However, this only goes for couples that are a *bit* older than us because by then, the maturity levels of both people are pretty much equal.

yeah i guess if its true love it wont matter....i use to think couples where the girl was like 1 year+ and up older than the guy that..it was super weird...but i dont know anymore.. i wouldn't go fer younger than a year though..that's just too strange fer me. xD

yea. it's awkward for me i'm usually not interested in guys my age or younger.

but for other ppl, it's fine. just go with whatever you want cause we all know age aint nothing but a number.

psh no. I'd only go a year older or younger though. The guy I like is a year younger, I don't think it'd be awkward. My ex was a year older and that wasn't awkward either.......come to think of it, it only lasted two days but I'm fussy and he wanted me for sex so he wasn't worth it.

I've always gone for older guys, so yes. But really, it's cuz of the immaturity. Younger guys can be SO freaking immature...of course you have your exceptions, so I would have no problem with "mature" younger men.

i've only dated younger men, sadly.

It wasn't such big a deal...i mean, one guy was only like 2 months younger than me, and the other was only 5 days younger than me.

I think i felt more akward when i dated a shorter guy. ...i was only taller than him by an inch, but it was still pretty obvious that i was taller, and for some reason that really bothered me.

The worst part is, he became the same height as me after the summer...and he was a whole inch taller than me when he started dating my best friend....talk about super akward.

well I guess it all depends on both your ages...like me and my bf hes only like 3 months younger than me(dec-me march-him)...but say your like 14 or 15 and he is like 2 years younger and hes 12 or 13 yea thats kinda wierd. Guess it all depends on how old you are and how much younger he is...

my boyfriend's 1 year and two, almost 3 months younger then I am. Mentaly we're on the exact same level. At first I was worried he'd have childish feautres, but defenitely not. He's been through extremely rough stuff, so he matured faster then lots of his peers.

I don't notice any difference between us when it comes to maturity and interests.

The only crap part is that when I turn 18, he'll be 16 for two months more. It's not a problem to me, but I know other people will think weird stuff. My sister's already teasing me about it, meanwhile my birthday is still a while away (march). It's simply annoying when people do that. If it was really that bad I wouldn't be with him in the first place. But we're absolutely perfect together.

If age really is such a big deal in a relationship (constantly worrying), then obviously it's not meant to be.

its so weird.. cause the way I see it, couples feel weird if they're a couple years apart, when they're in school. But, once they're in their 20s and 30s, age doesn't really matter =/
