Hey im pretty new to web design and im trying to make a site. I like the top but i cant get anythign good looking under the horizontal navigation does anyone have any suggestions? http://users.cjb.net/amprizon/index.html please also tell me what you think

Feedback:

First, I suggest changing the background color so that it's not white in higher resolutions.

Also, try centering the whole thing and put a border around it. I recommend a border around the whole thing, and then a line separating the header/content. Get rid of the box in the middle, part of the reason that the content looks so awkward is that it's so skinny compared to the header. I would actually use that dark color in the main background, and a lighter background for the content. As long as you've got a border, you don't need a background image behind the text and it's okay to have two different colors. I also think the text should be justified, it looks better. So. There are some things to experiment with. :)

As for everything else, it looks pretty good for someone who's just starting out. Be sure to post back in here when you update so we can see. _smile.gif
