Is it me or do you find it SICK when a 19 year old girl can't go out after 6:00 PM?
A friend of mine is like that, she's from Vietnam (if that contributes to anything) and her parents won't let her go out after 6:00 PM...We hardly see eachother on weekends... stubborn.gif

6:00 curfew is ridiculous though, i guess she has to live with it cuz of the "my house, my rules" rule

My dad said I couldn't go out after 6 one time... he forgot though :x that is bull shit. If she's over 18 she should be able to go out whenever, right? Meh...

That is just like me, but the only difference is my age, I am 15, not 19. Well, in this case, it is quite strict for Asian parents to do that to an adult.

^That's kinda not true. My parents are asian and they're extremely strict (I dont get to date till Im in college, cant go to parties unless it's birthday party, never curse, never say shut up, speak tagalog or you get a beating, etc) i have every rule set up on me EXCEPT FOR A CURFEW...i can stay up late anytime i want

not really, i never had a curfew. well i did once cause i stayed out too late. but i still come home by 10 11 just in case.

ouch pinch.gif i guess she'll just have to deal with it for awhile til she gets out of the house. but six?! that's abit too strict

Her parents might be very strict.
Or perhaps she has a bad past, and her parents can't trust her that much anymore.
Or perhaps her parents were brought up that way so they just reat her the same way they were treated when they were young.

that's not strict, that's like...over the edge. she's an adult now and can make her own decisions. if i was her i'd talk to my parents about it and threaten to move out if my curfew isn't extended.

I'm only 13 and I've been out 'til 1 A.M. at the movie theatre with friends.

Though. If she's 19 and still living with her parents. I guess she deserves it. happy.gif

Well normally she should be out of school but she's re-doing few classes. She failed...
She can't move out...if she does, her parents said they'll send her to Vietnam to get married... mellow.gif

I think that is a little too strict, her parents should go a little easy on her. She's old enough to handle herself.
