^ Hah, and to think I was one of those people who actually went out and GOT the album whistling.gif.
I think that "Twin Cinema" is the best, just looking over the variety of songs they had on that album. It kind of blew me away with the first listen. It's power pop at its finest.

I would have, had my uncle not sent it to me for my birthday. I bought the bonus track off itunes, it that's any consolation.
It's truly an amazing album. It touched me more than any album had since "Give Up" or "Transatlanticism" (they may seem cliche now, but they were recognized for a reason). By the third track, I was practically in tears, which sounds lame and overly sentimental, ubt seriously.

her space holiday's "the past presents the future" or stars' "set yourself on fire".  i can't choose!

I say Stars > Her Space Holiday

Female - Fiona Apple "Extraordinary Machine"  It's an amazing piece of work.  The cd isn't something you'd necessarily put on repeat, but the composition of the music combined with her lyrics truly makes for an extraordinary album.

Male - I'll go for a band - NIN.  Trent Reznor is in top form.

eh, "Tidal" and "When the Pawn..." owned it

Yeah, I agree. I think Stars is better than Her Space Holiday... just cause I only liked one song on The Past Presents The Future. ;x

I really didn't like Keyshia Cole's album. sad.gif I bought it with the impression it was going to be amazing but... not for me.

Kanye West's and Trey Songz' were definitely two of the best for me.

And to break this mostly hip-hop/r&b trend we haave going on here: Jason Mraz - MR. A-Z. throb.gif 'Nuff said.
