I just felt like making this poll. I remember the first time I listened to heavy metal and I was like "This is so stupid. I mean, there is no musical value whatsoever" And my friends would be like "Ooh, I like this Slipknot song" or whatever and I'll be like "Sorry I don't like heavy metal"
But it's like totally different now. It's pretty much my favorite genre of music. Heavy metal gives you a sort of bad impression at first, but if you really listen to it, it's awesome. What do you think? |

At first i was like "holy cow. What are they saying? TOO MUCH SCREAMING!" Now I think it's okay.. It's not exactly my favorite thing to listen to but I do listen to a few heavy metal songs. ^^;

Metal is rad, mostly into Brutal Death Metal but I listen to all genres in metal even Nu-Metal. Black metal is also the shit.

crunk rock is pretty cool, ppl should listen to that instead if they like the whole loud music concept lol
but heavy medal isnt my favorite type of music.. actually im probably one of its worst fans |

To Tell You The truth i really hate heavy metal because it doesnt make me feel good like other music one reason is prolly bc i cant stand it.. sry but it makes me sick and i just hate it sry for my opinion if it pisses sum 1 off....

And it still is.  But I can understand why some people like it, so that's just my opinion. |

the first metal band i ever heard was cradle of filth and for some reason i got really deep into metal. I like most types of metal. I especially like doom metal

ER, slipknot, is SHIT! I hate them so efin much.
But, seriously I was like f**k YES! I loved Metal instantly. You could feel their rage, and emotion. It was all electric and bass, and so RAD. Man, I love it. Metallica is the ultra rad metal band |

I remember I was probably about 18 at the time, and my friend had a band that I went to go see practice every week on weds.
He introduced me to hardcore shows, and told me about a couple bands that I should listen to and I did (peer pressure haha). I dated someone who was into Poison the well converge every time i die and of course I fell in love. I grew up on grunge, alternative and such My list? The Chariot PTW Converge Norma Jean Every Time I Die Horse the band and so on, I can't think of others right now. |

 I remember AC/DC, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Metallica (ORIGINAL Metallica). Hell, I even remember Def Leppard.I used to love Def Leppard although arguably, not really Heavy Metal. |
