The pic on my signature was done by a friend of mine. I just wanted to know how to create those little shades at the top and bottom of image. I would have asked him, but I haven't been able to keep in touch. Txs in advance.

you could probably add a new black layer in photoshop covering those parts, then reduce the opacity. If all you have (in terms of photo-editing) is paint, then... I'm not sure if its possible.

wut i would do (i have photoshop 7) is make a rectangular shape with a black bg and then mess around with the opacity until it looks right....pretty much wut fireshrieker sed.....hope that helps

well just use the square drawing tool and draw the 2 rectangles over that, then on the toolbar thing, there should be a percent value, that's the opacity, so just click on it and lower the opacity, i think that explains it..

ok i hav madd questionz here!! lol 1st of all HOW THE HECK DO U EDIT UR BANNER WITH WORDS? IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO IT WITHOUT THE USE OF PHOTOSHOP? CUZ I DUNT HAVE ANY PHOTOSHOP? AND WHAT ARE some of u guyz use? wat do u use to mak a banner? cuz i was thinking aobut getting a pictures online of nicole kidman and put words on it, saying something! so i REALLLLLLLLLLLLY NEED SOME OF UR GUYS HELP!!!!!!
