The image quality of the main image could be better. The format of the dates don't seem to fit well with the rest of the layout. Some of the text is jagged-y. Other than all that, I like the overall idea.

^agree about the format of dates but not the quality and the text thing... it looks fine on my screen.
i dont really like the color choice (the blue on the blog), but like i agree w/ d4z3, the idea is nice |

i'm not too fond of the color scheme and it wouldn't've hurted lowering the compression a bit. your layer styles just seem like overkill honestly and the text on the menu is a little hard to make out. there's also a bug viewing it in firefox that causes one of those division lines to expand the page a bit, so you might as well remove it.

 Looks blue to me.  Albiet the links are because your CSS is screwy, but that image looks a nice shade of turquoise.  32-bit color quality.---- Oh, and I think the bloody raindrops look fake. And it's weird for the navigation to be a different color and so much bigger. |

just curious, all the links on this page, do they look blue or green to you?

I don't like the way you used the gradients... it's kind of tacky. The blood is a bit overdone and doesn't seem real to me. The blog space is a little plain and the navigation is hard, but not impossible, to read. I like the color scheme, though. Aside from the navigation and gradients, the background looks good.
