Do you have imageready? You will need it to animate

Open your picture .. then add any effects you want to it .. then save it..
then open the same picture or a diff up to you add any effects to it then save it.

When you save it , save them as .jpg which is best.

Open imageready
Then look on the right hand side where it says optimized (should be top right) change the .jpg settings to .gif
then open both pictures.. (file > open)
then go to window>animation
then on one of the pictures look down at the animation toolbar .. bottom left hand or center. Then look at the little arrow in the toolbar which is in the top right then click copy frame..
then go to the other picture click anywhere on it.. and look at the animation toolbar and click the arrow again and go past frame
then edit the secs on the frames

and thats just the way you can have a flashy pic

Imageready comes with the later versions of photoshop.
You can get animation shop but you may have to read some tutorials on how to do the animation..
Its the same concept though.

if you don't have imageready, which is probably due to having an illegal version of photoshop, use AniTuner which is available HERE. just resize the box to the size you want it to be, or use 'autofit.'
