Seems like year 2005 is almost over .. I would like to take this oppurnities to nominate Bill Gates as the People of the year 2005..

The reason is he and his wife melinda , donated 1/3 of his wealth to the charity.

The richest MAN is doing a great job giving back to the community and not like other people who just love to conquer other people country and taking all the country wealth biggrin.gif ...

I'd have to say Oprah. Although she's rich and can buy whatever she wants with her money (which she still does), she's also keen on helping other through her Angel Network. I watched her show today where she invited many Hurricane Katrina relief volunteers for her Favorite Things 2005 show. A lot of her profits (through the selling of her magazine and other products) go directly (and 100% of it) to the Angel Network. She's done so many things for children in Africa. Although I wish she would help needy children in other countries as well. She awards people who are most deserving.

Yeah. I heard that Bill Gates is only giving some of his money to his kids..I forgot the actual amount but the rest was supposed to go to charity. The amount that is to be given to the kids is small compared to how much he actually has...

I can't really think of anyone now, but I'm kind of leaning towards Oprah. Edit later.

Just want to add another greatest people of the year 2005 is "War Dogs"

This is for all the dogs who served at the war .. Personally I felt these dogs deserved to be remembered ...

Vietnam war and Paul has a dog with him during the war.

The dogs has been trained to protect their master and guide them in the war zone. War dogs were trained to recognize booby traps, mines tunnels and weapons caches.

One day ,Paul has been ambushed by some vietnamese in the jungle and his leg got shot ..Paul unable to walk and lay on the ground... as the enemies approaching him , none of his allies dare to take the risk to help him but
EXCEPT his dog name "Preed" , the dog went to his master and drag his master away from the danger and manage to drag him to a safer place , as Paul said roughly 800 meter.....

The dog does not care about the danger and doenst care about their life to save their master. They dont work for money , they dont sleep inside , they eat what is left from the armies. Human will think twice whether it is worth 2 risk for their lives but war dogs No....

Do you know that these war dogs prevented over 10,000 casualties....

But at the end of the War .. these dogs cannot be brought back and has to been killed in Vietnam , at the end this is what the get ... sad.gif

I salute to all the dogs who served in the war , your contribution will never be forgotten...
