QUOTE(xnofearx @ Dec 13 2005, 4:43 PM)
Depends on the price, some overpriced clothing you can't get anywhere else, so you buy it from there. It also depends on the quality of the fabric made, and the comfort.
*

When it comes to quality, it still doesn't really compare with the pricing. I mean, sure it'll be more expensive to make, but I'm sure the jeans aren't worth $600 themselves.

I agree that when it comes to quality, some times may be of a higher price. But not where it's like.. 10x the price of something that is a tiny bit lower quality. I mean, I have jeans that I consider expensive, but they're like, 1/5 the price of those jeans.

And HolyMoly - I agree--they could be donating that money if they just like to throw away money on jeans that will probably be forgotten within a short amount of time (that's what happens when people have too much money! lol).

Haha :) I guess it usually depends on the brand, but yeah. A lot of clothes that are really expensive are usually the same quality as regular clothes. I love pricey clothing, but I think it mostly depends on quality.

It's crazy, yeah.
It's unbelievable how Abercrombie&Fitch sells a pair of their jeans for $100.
I could get mines for around twenty. It's possible.

Isn't it ridiculous to buy anything that is overpriced? Overpriced is, by definition, priced higher than it is valuable, and to buy anything like that is ridiculous.

Technically, the value of an object is how much enjoyment you get from it. So if you're willing to buy it, then it's clearly not overpriced (otherwise you wouldn't buy it, because you'd be happier with the money, yes?)

Sometimes it's just plain amusing to find overpriced clothing.

One time when I was walking through A&F with my family my little brother said, "They sell old ripped up pants for $80! What a ripoff!"

I bit funny considering he's eight.

whats the difference? clothes are made for you to be worn, not to be popular. every type of clothing is made out of frabic anyway.

psh. my shirts never go over 10 bucks, and my jeans never go over 20. i still look good.

overpriced clothing is jsut stupid and people who buy over priced clothing are stupid. you most definetly can get a better deal for similar looking clothing elsewhere.

Right, but if you were Paris Hilton or someone who would see $600 as just pocket change, you'd probably buy it. I admit I would if I had that kind of cash. But being the person I am and not having that kind of lifestyle, I wouldn't. It'd be nice, though.

It depends on ur lifestyle. I personally "cringe" at full price clothing and put it back in the rack. I was looking at it , and just think .. if i buy it at the factory it will be 3 dollars . Most of the jeans are made in third world countries. And trust me it's not that hard to find those jeans there. It's crazy that you would spend 50 dollars on some jeans with holes under your butt. If i really want to smell you ....BUT the thing is i dun care what u smell like and what underwear u wear ... jeans are suppose to cover u... anyways.

Clothes are clothes. I bet u can get a better look for the same amount of money u spend on one pair of jeans... imagine...
2 for 20 dollar tees at forever 21 .
a pair of jeans from Robinson Mays
shoes from .......etc..

I was walking through A&F with my dad and he went up to a living manicain (A guy that stand in the front wearing their clothes) and said, "Hey theirs a seamstriss on the third floor if you want to get those jeans repaired." I was like shut up dad. _smile.gif anyways my dad says hes going to start a new company hes going to buy cheap jeans from wherever and ripp the tar out of em and sell them for 100 bucks. Lmao. He wont accually do it but thats what he told me we should do. He said we would sit out by the beach and sell them to Japanese tourist.

That would be nice, but still, where does that money go? Hmmm.

I agree, but if it's crap material, then it's over priced.
