When I was a freshman, everyone was allowed to wear hats and it was all good. When my sophmore year started, we got a new principal who changed the rules and made hats not allowed. Although a lot of people hated it, I kinda liked seeing the guys' hair once in a while =]

No hats allowed when you're in the building.

Simple as that.

We used to.. but ever since we got a new principal, we're not allowed to wear any hats, beanies, hoods, etc.

Hoods are only allowed to be worn when it's raining, but must be taken off in class.

Mehh.

I taught at a local middle school where the children were not allowed to wear anything offensive. Headwear was deemed offensive. I taught an entire week wearing my mask.

My school pretty much doesn't allow anything that covers your head. We have hat days etc. occasionally though. It's usually for a fund-raiser so you have to pay money, though.

The punishments for having a hat aren't really bad though. The worst I've seen happen is someone being "reminded" not to wear a hat in school. No detentions etc.

You can wear hats in my school. But back when I was in middle school, we weren't aloud. I guess my high school is nicer? wink.gif

Nope. Something about hats being related to gangs or something stupid like that.

yeah hats, and hoods are allowd. no beanies though, but hell kids still wear `em. although it also depends on the teacher, some tell you to take it off, some dont, so yeah.

WHY DO HAT DAYS COST MONEY FOR YOU PEOPLE?!
they had those at my old skewl, but it was free.. hmm crazy.

Yeah, some classes let you wear hats, it's just a matter of the teacher. Some teachers find it disrespectful, and it is. I mean, that's why you take your hat off when you do the pledge of alligence. And sometimes teachers can't see their face or something. And besides, why should anyone even feel the need to wear a hat? Is the sun shining down on you in class and you can't see? Is it raining in school? No. If you got a bad haircut I would understand.

But we're not allowed to wear hoods. I don't think you can at the mall in my town, either. It's a supposive "gang sign" and my friends got kicked out of the mall once because they had their hoods on.

No hats, earring, and guys must be cleanly shaved.
Our school is very "respectable" and many people send there kids there because it's old-fashioned like that.
