Ha, yes. My last name ends with an "I-N-A", but people always pronounce it like it's "I-Ñ-A" for some reason.
It gets annoying trying to correct them all the time, because it sounds just like how it's spelled, and they still can't get it.

No one pronounces my first name (Greg) wrong ever though. Well once, some kid thought it was "Craig" for the longest time, but that's about it.

It's daNNielle nobody pronounces it right since it french and all but I don't really mind that seeing as I can't even pronounce it. My dancing teacher calls me Danni, so I'm dreading this xmas when I get a million cards to danielle or danny or danni. It p!sses me off big time b.c I've never had my name eer spelled right. I've reached the point where when I get an xmas card adressed to the wrong name I say, nah, I'm no -insert wrong name here- sorry, idk anyoen that gos by that name -gives card back- or I go WAIT DO YOU HAVE A FREAKIN PEN? and I correct the name on the envolope and inside the card. Right pronounciation is somethingl ike dann-ee-elle bearing in mind the frenchness.

hah. not really so much of spelling, but sometimes they do spell my name chan. and people say "tron"
haha. but its okay. its not like they know how to pronounce it, so i just politely correct them once and they got it.

Yea all the time. You would think that the name Kristin would not be that hard to spell. I've gotten Kristen, Kristian, Christin, Christian, Christen, etc. My best firend calls me Kris occasionally, but thats okay because I've known her my whole life.
