Nellie McKay's new album is quite good. I recommend "Columbia is Bleeding" most particularly. "Happy Flower" as well. "Long and Lazy River," which I'm listening to now, is good, but differently so.

Oh, neat. I'd definitely like to, at some point. I have little sisters, so we don't often go interesting places, though. It snows occasionally. Very occasionally. Maybe a couple of inches per year, if we're lucky. I'd love to get more.

It had better snow this year. Seriously. I will be extremely angry if it doesn't.
Hrmph. As I was writing this long rant on redlightglow on the hypocrisy of getting mad that someone "stole" the links to music that was illegally posted to begin with, they deleted the post because I even got to publish it. Angers me. I wrote out a whole patronizing lecture on how immature everyone was being by personally attacking each other, as well as correcting several false points people had made. I hate when that happens. Men need 16 year old girls to set them straight. |
