I say 15 because I guess I've seen Rated R movies (well since I was really young), and I've always wanted to go in a theater by myself, at the age of 13. I don't know, it just depends on your maturity level and what you can take to see. If that made sense...hmm...yeah. I want to see Rated R movies alone, darnit, one more year...just one more year.

I say it should be where it is...It isn't going to kill people to wait however many years just to see a movie...

QUOTE(euroFUSION @ Apr 8 2004, 6:52 PM)
I voted 'fourteen', because I am fourteen myself, and I'm not immature when it comes to watching any films. Nothing in R-rated films really bother me. I don't giggle at some mild sexuality or cover my eyes for the majority of the film if there's violence. It doesn't affect my life, so... yep.

i agree with that exactly...although i havent really seen that many, it kind of depends on whats in it

Ahh, over in europe I think they just rate every movie different. Like some movies are 15+ and others could be 14+ or 17+, etc. I think that would probably be a better way to do it than the R, PG-13, PG thing...because some R rated movies could be viewed by 15 year olds really, but some are more geared towards..."mature" audiences. happy.gif

I say 16 becuase that's when peopel star to mature. Lol ahahs yea I'm 16. But when I was younger, I always though sixteen was a good age. Beucse girls have those celebrations on their birthday, their sweet sixteen So that's why i saw 16. happy.gif

i think things are fine with the under 17 not admitted without parent.... what harm is done? and even if your younger than that... go to the movies with your parents, i must admit my parents arent the best but im cool enough with them to go to a rated - r movie withought feeling uncomfortable. but its tthe gorernment they control everything

Yes, I agree. 16 is a good number, because it seems like 16 is the great "mature" age aside from 18. That's when you're illegal; for everyone else that isn't 18, we're illegal. tongue.gif

It depends on the movie. Cause some older movies [Blues Bros. Stand By Me] are just rated R for language. But here, in Las Vegas, they have this card you can buy for your kids to let them see rated R movies w/o thier parents being there. Cool!! My parents still wont get it its because rated R movies are worse now than they were back then...

I don't think it really matters. I'm under thirteen and I've seen more rated-R movies more than anything. It depends on why it is rated-R. Most parents don't want their children seeing rated-R movies because of sexuality and violence.

I dont think there should be any age limit. Either way, kids are still going to get in. THe movie theatre I go to doesn't even check ID, so what difference does it make?

My friends and I have been watching them since we were 13, so I'd say 14 or 15 would be a fine age.
