i came from a [filipino] party and my godfather [ninong] was talking to my mom...and he has a nephew who`s probably two years older than me...and my mom and my godfather [ninong] was saying to my mom in tagalog "if mariel [me] and michael [my godfather`s nephew] fall in love and get married, we`re gonna be in-laws!!!" and my mom was laughin` with my godfather..
 thing was...his nephew IS cute.. and my mom told me he and i used to play together when we were young and i was like "i don`t even remember.." and he knows what my godfather said too and my mom told me he was embarrassed. *sigh*...but his nephew IS cute..  don`t your parents play around saying that you should hook up with one of their friend`s sons/daughters? it would be a BONUS if they were cute..hehe..

I hate it when they do that! You're right - they're so silly.  Ack...most of the time, the guys aren't too cute. Pft...they don't talk to me, anyways. Haha. Who knows - we'll probably do the same when we're their age.

My parents and my aunt used to say it'd be cool if I married my cousin, who's a year older than me. We used to be really close when we were kids, we've known each other since I was born! But we just stopped talking like we used to after we got to a certain age.
Lol you're probably thinking, 'gross, marry your own cousin?!' But it happens a lot in Asia in the olden days. They'd marry of their daughter to their brother's son and stuff... |

haha ... I hate it when they do that especially when they do it right in front of you and that other person ... I hate being put in the spotlight so I always end up turning red or feeling embarrassed ....
