use the overlay CSS pinned at the top of this forum.

http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97397

it'll hide the defaults of your profile.

^ he wants to get rid of all the default stuff so he can make his own layout.

what are you having trouble with in the code? I'd say it's pretty self-explanatory.

ehh that code isn't too simple I could never even get it myself. Try this kara (stanleythepanda?) gave it to me
CODE
.Main {
position: absolute;
left: 50%;
top: 125px;
width: 800px;
z-index: 1;
margin-left: -400px;
padding: 0px;
border: 0px;
background-color: FFFFFF;
overflow: hidden;
}
.comments {
visibility: hidden;
display: none;
}

add it to your css and try playing around with it. Otherwise use the profile hide link listed above and just explain what part you need help with.

okay, I looked around, tested, and this seems to work:

CODE
<style type="text/css">
.remove{wholeleftside}
   table table table table, table table table table td.text, table.contactTable {display:none;}
.remove{aboutmetext}
td.text table, .orangetext15 {visibility:hidden;}
.remove{contactingandinterests}
.whitetext12 {display: none; }
.remove{displayname}
.nametext {display: none; }
</style>

this will only leave 2 small tables, and if you get the CSS from the pinned topic, and make these tables transparent, they should be gone.

you will have to manual submit for this.

okay..well, then, take that out.
if you want your background to show through, then I'd suggest you make your main DIV have the background you want, and change it's width and height.

I didn't notice it, but...where did you enter the codes I gave you?
above anything? below..? that shouldn't matter, but i've seen it play a role in some...odd behavior.
