Since I could only put ten answers in the poll, I would think that a lot of people have more ideas :) For me, the most romantic thing ever was actually the first time I cried in front of him and he wiped my tears away and kissed my eyelids and held me until I calmed down. |

Well for me as well as most girls...its the LITTLE things..
Like the other day...we were leaving my driveway & he tried to excel the gas..but we have a gravel driveway so the tires spin a little before you actually take off... So he was like "i hate gravel driveways! Our driveways gonna be cement okay?" & that let me know that when thinking of his future life...I was in it! |

I think the most beautiful thing in the world is to ask "her"
to go to a special place with you, and as you go. When you both arrive at your destination, remind her of all the times you been with each other, and how it happened from the very beginning. Then kneel down and let her gaze into your eyes, let her see that you want to be with her for the rest of your life. She's shocked as she finds family, friends, people in her life that meant something, coming out of their hiding places, looking at both of you with warm smiles and waiting for the answer, as you pop the question. "will you spend the rest of your life with me as my wife?" you ask, her eyes water up from the pure joy and love she feels at the very moment. As she replies, everyone claps and rushes to congratulate you both, you feel like nothing in the world can go wrong now, because now you know, you both will have the rest of your life together to love, to share, and to grow old with each other. |

Well this one time after Battle of Prokhorvka, my girlfriend was nurse and I was sent to front line to execute deserters and caputred fascist pig dogs with my NKVD Guards Regiment and she invented cheesiest pickup line: "Be sure you come back alive, Comrade. Winter in Moscow is very cold... but perhaps this year will be different?"
We had wild sex in Moscow after the battle but she was sent to Gulag later and I had to fill out bunch of forms to bring her back. That was pretty romantic too, da? Bureaucracy and pointess labor bring tear to my calloused eye. |

The thing I find most romantic is when someone helps you through something...or rather when you're really upset and then youe significant other comforts you. It's just so sweet and caring. But also in movies and stuff I find it really touches me when the guy stands up for the girl in public. And I don't mean the opposite of sitting  I mean when she's insulted or something and the guy defends the girl and then comforts the girl, it's so sweet.  as long as he doesn't get in a fight, I think that's just immature.\EDIT I laughed aloud when I read your answer ComradeRed

Most romantic?
All the ones listed are really romantic.. But one thing that really meant to me the most was when I first started going out with my current boyfriend (3 years ago!) and it was raining one day (during the winter!) and I was freezing at school. He had on a T-shirt and a really warm jacket. He saw me shivering, hugged me, and offered me his jacket. I know it's something simple, but just the thought of Tony sacrificing his warmth for me... It really meant a lot to me. :]
