wow, bush really is on crack, no offense to anyone that likes bush...
edit/ what i mean is, if i was him i wouldn't make it legal for people to go shooting everyone that robs their house. having a gun in the house isnt safe either. |

owning a gun is in no way illegal. it's a constitutional right. as long as you have to proper paperwork you are a-ok to own a gun. also, if someone is breaking into your house and threatening the safety of you and your family, shooting them is considered self-defense, therefore it is legal.
we have a few guns, they aren't practical though. years and years ago my parents were revolutionary war re-enactors (sp?!) so we have my dad's muskets. they offer no protection, but we don't really need any guns, as we don't really live in a place that is often subject to intruders. i've been shooting a few times, i am not a good shot at all. we don't have any firing ranges around here though, so i only get to go when i'm at my uncle's house. |
