Haven't brought one up in a while. I guess future QOTDs will be placed in the Feedback section? (makes sense to me)
Without further ado... Question of the Day: For those who are not regular bloggers/designers, what keeps you coming to createblog? Has createblog influenced you to take/retake up a blog? My answer: I no longer regularly update my xanga, and I update MySpace once in a while. I come to createblog because of the community primarily (the fact that I have a modding position also influences this too  . Createblog has gotten me to try out MySpace. I don't really like it very much, but it seems to be the "flavor of the week" with my friends, so I use it for small talk since I am unable to talk to a lot of them on the various instant messaging networks. i come to creatblog to primarily to get to 3000 posts, but ill probably continue to post after i reach the number...
no not really createblog hasnt inspired me to blog more often, i would say it has the opposite effect... and i dont really come here for the people, i used to though... this is a time killer... creatblog has changed alot in the last year and a half... |

The excitement, the entertainment, the fact that people here amuse me easily.
I guess it's the people here that make me want to come. It's nice to just connect with different kinds of people you know that you'll never hang out with at school. They give you different perspectives, and we all bond real easily (especially in the chat room). It's nice to get a little compliment or have some feedback from other people you don't know, so they can't really critisize you or anything. I've been here for a realllly long time, over a year and a half? Yeah, it's great though. |

Its always nice to talk to people who don't live near me. Gives a kind of a bond with people you never meet in person. Also, some cute girls here too.

What keeps me coming to createblog? hmm..
Well, I like to help out. It's a fun place. I've been here for awhile, so I know many people. I have friends here. It's fun to talk to them. The topic's are interesting. It's a fairly active place. etcetcetc... |

Well am a regular blogger, but I will still answer the question. I keep coming to createblog 1) for the people. I have gotten to know some pretty cool people through createblog and I think most of the members are pretty awesome. 2) Me being a moderator of course, as a moderator I am dedicated to making sure the site runs smoothly and give input to make it better. 3) Design related resources, my initial reason for joining the site in the first place (other than to just waste time :p) was to learn more about graphic related things. I can say I have learned alot from cB in that aspect.

In all honesty, the only thing that keeps me coming here would be the digital art forum.
Every day, I come here and look around a bit. I go straight to the digital art forum, and look around for new topics. I rarely post, unless I feel an absolute need to, so I just look around. I don't mean this in a bad way, but I like to compare the art level(s) of createBlog now and createBlog back when I first joined. It's changed a lot to be honest, so That's something I like to see. Also, createBlog has not really inspired to (re)take up a blog. I found this site looking for xanga layouts, and so I guess I can't really say it inspired me. I have various blogs, but I tend to have a hard time updating, whether it's remembering to do so or having something to say. -shrugs- Long answer D: |

Yeah createblog made me try out MySpace. I guess I blog more because of createblog. I come to CB because of the atmosphere and it's something to do. It's informative. I've learned everything I know about design from CB.

Although I came here predominantly for the Xanga skins, I stayed because of the people. I know sometimes we're mean to noobs and everything and heaven knows we've got our share of drama, but really this place is just a fun community. I love the people I've met here and the friends I've made. There are people here that I would MUCH rather hang out with and talk to than the ones I know in real life.
CB has definitely inspired me to get into coding and designing again. |

Hm, I guess I don't really visit createBlog as much as I used to, but that doesn't really mean much when it comes to my answer. I come back to post on here because I like most of the people here. Also, I think a lot of the people here come up with a lot of interesting topics that I like to post in. I guess to simplify it, I think createBlog is a very interesting place, and that's why I come on here to read and/or post.
As for the second question....in all honesty, createBlog hasn't inspired me to do more with my Xanga. I only really update when I want to, but that's how I've always been with my Xanga. |

i dont really use blogging things so much, but yes createblog users and such and the layouts people have made really have urged me to make a new xanga, i do have my own graphics site which i work on too. [both links in sig]. yeah thats my answer. [?].

Being a bored person at home with nothing else to do, I searched for something to occupy my time. That's when I found cB. :D It did influence me to be more active with my blog, but I eventually gave it up.

i hav nothing to do, the little # of post system always givs a goal of to do's in cb, AND i get some cool tips in here. Like i dont hav an older sister or an older friend or anything (and my mom is foreign) so i really dunno many things i should kno (sort of)

I am quite a regular blogger (or rather, xangan).
cB is much more than helping out in the help section and browsing layouts. There are so many interesting people here and I can really feel that this is a community.
