This is true to an extent, but if your parents drink, and you choose not to, you will notice a large gap of difference in your body types. Drugs, diet, and physical activity all help as factors in determining the way you will look as you age. It is however, mostly genetics.

eh. i dont look like either of my parents. im already taller than my mom and a little taller than my dad. but if i had to look like one of my parents, id probably pick my dad since hes skinny. my mom is...well....not skinny. SHES NOT FAT. just kinda chubby. but i still dont wanna be chubby. i wanna stay skinny forever. but my said that she used to be really skinny when she was younger and thats the same with all my aunts...until they reached about 40, they started getitng *plump plump plump*. GAH. I DONT WANNA BE PLUMP.

my sister and my dad has just one or two -_-;; I guess so. But some people... like my friend Freddy. He is really fat like weighs 240...and his parents are skinny -_-;; heh. so i guess it doesnt really matter O_O |

i hope not. because that means ill have 2 back surgeries, breast cancer (and have to have my boobs removed and then have saline ones put in

my mom was really skinny until she had kids. she says she didn't get fat until she had me. so i'm guessing i probably will, and i'll end up fat when i have kids.

nope, because i dont look like my mum at all and shes really skinny and looks ten years younger then she is.. my sisters an exact replica of her.
some people say i look like my dad.. but i dont plan on getting overweight.. im not as tall as him either.. |

Crap.. I know when I was little people told me I would grow up and look like my dad because I resembled him.
 I DEFINITELY don't want to look like my father! It's weird because I'm just as short as my father (well, I'm 5'0 and he's 4'11 so it's close), so I'm hoping to grow a little taller soon lol. I fear growing up and looking like my parents, so I'll take care of myself, body-wise. My mother labored a lot when she was young in order to survive (she lived in Vietnam). Also, she's been toiling and laboring every day, so she hasn't been taking care of herself. Man I wish I could help but I don't know how to cook or do certain things that she only knows how to do. :/ As for my father... eek. I don't want to think about him anymore.
