The Internet wasn't around when I was 12. When it finally did come out, we had to walk uphill both ways in the snow to get it.

I started a xanga around 11ish or 10ish. I'm 13 now, so I know better than I did on making a xanga. I haven't really made a website, just xangas, livejournals, and bloggers.

I had an expage when I was 12 as well. After that, there was an AOL homepage, Xanga, Myspace, and a subdomain.

Hmm, I think I had my first website at around 13-14, when my family got the internet. But I rarely went on because it was dial-up. I probably really used xanga when I was 14-15.
Nowadays, kids start out younger because of the wide range and availability of the internet. |
