guys caring about their appearance, what do you girls think? Options

k so you know how some guys care excessively about their appearance? as much as girls do, and often even more. does this bother you, especially when they start having a convo with you about hair products and sneakers or something, or do you find it attractive?

some girls i know hate it, but i like my guys to care about coordination and all that. but not to the extent that he cares even more than i do.

I would be kinda creeped out I guess, but I have friends who obsess over sneakers or something, like "these shoes are so cool", ya know? But not like over hair products. That would be weird.

I don't mind as long as he doesn't obsess over it to the extreme. I mean, its bad enough hearing it from some of my friends all the time. I have to tell them "you always look pretty no matter what"

Well, I like it. I like that a guy cares about his appearance enough to dress nicely and take showers and stuff.. BUT, my boyfriend takes too long and it makes me mad, haha.

I think every guy needs to have confidence about and in theirselves. But not to the extent where they have to go to the bathroom every minute to check there hair. But it also really bugs me when there like "damn i'm fine, or damn i'm sexy". So to me, I think its good that they care, just not over the top do it.

And if anyone cared more about there apperence then me, like a guy, i would seriously be really scared.

i don't mind if it's clothes or shoes. but if they know more hair products than i do, and have tried more than i have, then there's a problem.

i hate it i hate i hate it! well, i hate it when the guy cares about his appearance more than i do...and thats sad i think it's just weird...lols...and sometimes they get annoying too...because they just CAN'T shut up about it! i mean... a guy that knows how to take care of himself is definately good, but when you start getting all EXTREMELY metro on me...i get...weirded out

it doesn't bother me at all. I don't find anything wrong with having guys worry about their looks. Afterall, first impressions are important. I find it rather cute. more guys should be like that

yea, im suRe most guRls do, but not when the guys are obessesd with their appearance...like a guRl. there's nothing wroNg with it, but it can just go over board with a guy and their appearance when they kno more stuff about guRl clothes and shoes and wut nOt.

Well, it would be nice for guys to at least make themselves look decent. Wear clean clothes, wash their face, stuff like that.

lol its sort of funny, yet cool. i know this guy who wears burbary (?) polos and buys really expensive ones too. hes not rich or anything, jus spoiled.. and i hear he wears coverup. lol its okay i guess but when they start to wear makeup and match liek crazyyy its weird.

Well, I like when guys take care of themselves and know how to dress nicely, have good hygiene, and just look good and take care of themselves you know.
I don't like when guys don't care about their appearance, I find that very unattractive. But it can be very weird if the guy talks about shampoo and hair products and such. If he doesn't go outside or play sports because he's afraid his clothes will be dirty, well to me thats equally as unattractive as bad hygiene. I want a guy that is kinda in the middle. :) One that cares about how he looks, but not to the point where he could pass as being metrosexual or something, and I would like him to be manly too, lol. I know what i'm looking for lol, It's kinda hard explaining it.

i agree. i think it's sexy (like if they don't wear like sweatpants and stuff all the time). unless they take it to the extreme. because that's just scary.

exactly what I was going to say. I am a hygiene freak, so he's got to be clean and smell good, but not take it to the extreme. My best guy friend spends $200 every time he goes to get a haircut! And he has almost no hair!

Yeah, I agree with KissMe2408 (sorry I don't know your name) up there. I'd like them to smell good, look good, dress nice. Not like a slob and doesn't shower every day or something. But I wouldn't want him to be like "i used so and so this morning and i couldn't choose between the red shirt or the blue shirt" or so on. And I wouldn't want him to be like "omg i can't play sports because then i'll get all dirty".
