Whoevers seen the latest HP movie...did you think that Dumbldore was portrayed wrong? For some reason I didn't think they portrayed him right. He was supposed to be the calm one, while everyone is yelling about Harry being in the Tournement. But he wasn't like that. What do you think?

I thought, "Is that really Dumbledore?"
Didn't really seem like him at all.

Yeah I know. Ugh, and Dumbledore was supposed to explain to Harry and stuff, but they didn't really show that too well. He's supposed to be all calm and collected and serene, not angry.

The new dumbledore sucks.

He gets all spitting angry and red. Spitty and angry arent good together. I hate it. I kept on getting pissed of because the new dumbledore is so ROWDY. and Dumbledore is supposed to be calm serene and ... just the picture of calm. BAIKGVBSAKVGB

YES. EXACTLY.

I hate how he gets so loud and angry. I can't believe JK Rowling let that happen. It's a travesty.

Yeeeeeah he was all HARRY POTTER?!?!?!??!?!??!?! and I was like uhhh..?

Did anyone else catch that the whole Rita Skeeter theme was, like, not there at all. There were supposed to be all those stories about Harry that he hadn't interviewed for and whatnot and that whole theme was gone. It didn't even say that Rita was an animagus (sp?)...
OH AND LUNA LOVEGOOD WASN'T IN THE MOVIE!!! :O:O:O:O

Yeah he was shaking Potter.. but yeah, remember, love is blind and so is Dumbledore [in the movie]. I think they were trying to show he was being protective of him regardless of what his reactions truly are to Harry according to book4 after competitors were announced.

Just to show Dumbledore has a personality... well you people know how entertainment works. And those Potter movies are for entertainment.. not osme art film or good quality movie that is meant for telling a story-not money not really for entertainment.

No, because she's introduced on the Hogwarts Express when she reads the Queebler or whatever her father's paper was called. And also, when they were casting this movie, I wanted to audition for her part (hahaha).

Dumbledore does have a personality. He's serene and wise... and have a little sense of humor. It really sucks that Richard Harris died... sad.gif He definitely was Dumbledore-esque because he was humorous too, just like the book. (Yes, he was. Not laugh-out-loud humorous but like... giggly-type kind.)

Also with the Rita Skeeter thing, there were only like two scenes that truly portrayed that... and what about Sirius? The whole movie, he only makes one appearance... and then in the next book (and if there's a movie)... he's going to be gone. sad.gif So then, poop.

I agree.
I was thinking to myself during the period of the Goblet of Fire about Dumbledore's .. attitude and personality.
IMO, I think they picked a more harsher and more strict person to play Dumbledore. I liked the old man who played it in the Sorcerer's Stone; he matched the description in the novels more better.

No, I'm pretty positive she was introduced in the fifth book because Ron and Hermione were Prefects so they left Harry alone and therefore he entered the same train compartment as Luna on the Hogwarts Express.
