a light charcoal gray would look nice, or a sheer shimmer white. It depends on the shade of red.

YES. alot of the really preppy girls at my school do that. its gross. just never wear red eye makeup, thats a given. they do it when they wear red clothes, and it's hideous, like they're dead or something
