James, not everything I say has to be taken so literally. I was distressed by the actual quotes themselves as much as I was for the bands. I didn't even say they had bad taste in music, for that matter. Must you start an arguement over everything?
Besides which, even if I do think someone has bad taste, it's not like I'm going to assume they're horrible people. Would I actually tell them that I thought that? No. I don't know these people. I was looking through a yearbook and judgin people. Of course I'm judging them- that's what I was actually doing. I don't know them. it doesn't matter in the remotest what I think of them, because it's not like I even see them at school. The only time I've ever seen any of them was just in a yearbook. I wasn't even serious. Grasp the concept that I too have matured and am not as ridiculously judgemental as you think I am. I was in middle school, but that was a long time ago. It's not being childish because I don't expect everyone to like the same things as I do. In fact, that wouldn't be anymore enjoyable at all. I'm not unwilling in the remotest to recognize poeple like different things. I was amusing myself. I can't believe that after all this time, you're taking me so seriously as that and still immediately jump to the conclusion that I actually care and am just that ignorant. I also cringed at the Bright Eyes quote, and I own two of his albums. Just shut up once in a while. |

what i said had nothing whatsoever to do with you judging the people who like the music.
what i said was that you cant say that the musicians themselves are 'bad musicians' when what you mean is that you didnt like them. stop being so defensive. it only makes it seem like you have something to defend. oh, and i just sent you and email, but my computer froze up, and i dont know if it sent |
